Who are we?

We are students in grades 9-12 who attend Lakeville North and Lakeville South High Schools. We are coaches, parents and community members.  We are public speakers, musicians, athletes, gamers, artists, academics, today’s youth, and tomorrow’s leaders.

Our debate team equips students with lifelong skills used in every area of life. We teach students to analyze, understand, empathize with, question and argue both sides of an issue. We promote confidence, pursuit of knowledge, public speaking skills, collaboration, respectful interaction and professionalism. We strive to use our valuable experiences and skills learned through our debate program to make a positive difference in our local and global communities.
