Welcome to Lakeville South Boys Track and Field
Five Time Defending True Team Section Champions
The MSHSL has currently stated that our season can start on Monday March 29th. That is the Monday of spring break so we will officially start on Tuesday April 6. After spring break.
Here is a LINK to sign up your athlete. They must have a current physical on file with the school.
Here is a FOLDER with information for the 2021 season. Weekly Parent updates, Schedules, Bus times, Meet line ups, Meet schedules, Meet results ect.
Our preseason parent meeting date is yet to be determined. Look for updates here as I hear more from the CDC and MSHSL. We are a large group, (130+ athletes and then parents) so we will have to follow guide lines set up for large groups.
If you are not recieving team and parent update emails from Coach Gilmer email him at: email@example.com
The Spirit wear store is closed until the season: I will update this when we are closer to the season.

Track and Field is a sport designed for athletes of all abilities. All athletes compete in the meets. Track and field involves a variety of activities from running to jumping and throwing. Running events include short sprints up to the 3200-meter run. Jumping events include the long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault. Throwing events include the shot put and discus.
Track and Field is open to all interested athletes. It is a grade nine through twelve program. No previous experience is required to join the team. The season traditionally starts on the second Monday of March and runs to the last weekend of May. With the state meet on the first weekend in June.
The program is set up for all athletic abilities. Of the meets scheduled the majority of them are for all athletes to compete in. We do have some limited entry imitational meets that we attend for the top athletes of our program.
Our coaching philosophy is to make you the best athlete that we can in the events that you have selected to compete in. Our goal as coaches is to make you a better athlete in track and field or to make you a better athlete in your other sport.
